PKR Jelutong Youth Chief's home sealed and inventoried by court officials

GEORGE TOWN: The household items of PKR Jelutong Youth chief Khairil Anuar Kamarudin was sealed and inventoried by court officials today.
The move comes after a writ of seizure and sale was issued against him for failing to pay RM30,000 in damages to former state PKR Wanita leader Aminah Abdullah.
Court bailiffs went to his house in Jelutong here about 10.30am and were accompanied by counsel for Aminah, Saiful Ambar Abdullah Ambar.
Khairil said some RM12,000 worth of items were inventoried and sealed, including a sofa set and various electrical items.
He said the items will be sealed in the premises until the damages were paid within 14 days.
"Failure to do so will see the items auctioned off," he said to reporters outside his house.
Aminah on Sept 28, 2012, obtained a RM90,000 judgement against Khairil, Bukit Mertajam PKR division deputy chairman Jab Samat and former state PKR Wanita chief Norhayati Jaafar over an article in PAS organ Harakah Daily.

The High Court had ordered the three to each pay Aminah RM30,000 in general damages for their statements quoted in the article which was published in May 2012.
