Tropicana introduces the ‘yellow bicycle’

Tropicana Corporation Berhad (Tropicana) recently hosted a spectacular event, along the lines of "Come Along For A Ride".
Held at Kota Kemuning, where the highly-anticipated mixed-development project is to be built, the event witnessed many participants – the young and young-at-heart, families, singles, and retired folk. All arrived with a hodgepodge of bicycles. From two-wheelers to tricycles and quadricycles, tandems and those with child carriers, there were road and mountain bikes, racers, foldies and even modern-day "retro" roti-man bicycles – a fun gathering of "pedlars". A clown entertained with his balloon-sculpting skills while face-painting and tattoo artists were seen busy doing their thing. Soon enough, the entourage on wheels were flagged off for the 7km fun ride.
The scenic route was breathtaking, taking one through wide roads shaded with matured trees, where one could hear the chirping of birds and feel the crisp air and wind caressing the skin. After the leisurely bike ride, guests were given goodies bags and treated to a hearty Malaysian breakfast of "nasi lemak". The best part was that mats were strewn around the nearby lake for participants to enjoy a picnic. There was also a parent-kid inflatable area, a photo-booth and a couple of contests and lucky draws.
A fabulous way to spend a Sunday morning; the event, a lead up to the launch, gave guests and participants an experience of the lifestyle, which could be theirs, as a resident of Tropicana Aman.
Tropicana Aman is an 863-acre mixed township comprising commercial and residential components. It is primed as a "walking and biking community" and its blueprint depicts a lifestyle drawn on nature.
Added Tropicana head of marketing and sales Ung Lay Ting: "Tropicana Aman is a self-contained mixed township development offering an array of facilities and features such as a generous 85-acre central linear park and a lake, a 7km vehicular-free bike trail/jogging path. This event is not just to promote our Tropicana Aman development but to also encourage a healthier and wholesome lifestyle. Tropicana Aman is set to be an idyllic place where you can find balance in life, where the "yellow bicycle" (our development icon) is a reminder that it is time to slow down, take in the fresh air and live in a walk and bike-friendly environment."
In true Tropicana style, the township will also feature a central community clubhouse with a sports centre. The township will be easily accessible, linked to six major highways that include Lebuhraya Shah Alam (Kesas), the Federal Highway, Lebuhraya Kemuning Shah Alam (LKSA), Expressway Lingkaran Tengah (Elite), South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) and the up-and-coming West Coast Highway. The first phase of this development will be launched soon. Interested parties can register at www.tropicanaaman.com.my
