M'sian students escape fiery death in Moscow

    PETALING JAYA: A total of 21 Malaysian students escaped a fiery death when a massive fire broke out at a Malaysian students hostel in Moscow, Russia.
    A statement from the Foreign Ministry said the incident occurred on Wednesday at 11.30pm.
    Those involved were students of the Russian National Research Medical University.
    Seven students have been warded for further treatment while the rest were given outpatient treatment.
    The seven students are Mohannan Pattu, Pavin Raaj Selva Kumar, Praveena Sunthar Raj, Chen Wei Jun, Naveen Anbalakan, Zainal Nastaiin and Sharath Raj.
    Officials from the Malaysian embassy in Moscow had visited the students and are working with the university to assist those involved to be given temporary shelter.
