Education blueprint will produce first class Malaysians

    SERDANG: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is confident that the National Education Blueprint 2013-2025 will churn out individuals with a first class mindset capable of taking Malaysia to greater heights.
    "I trust that the transformation of the education system that we are currently implementing will produce a generation of Malaysians that possess a first class mentality that is capable of developing the country without neglecting moral values," Muhyiddin said during his speech at the Ministry of Education Excellent Service Awards ceremony.
    The ceremony in the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) today saw 579 civil servants in all levels of the Ministry of Education, from the Ministry level to the school level, receive awards for their stellar performance.
    Muhyiddin also said that he has faith that civil servants of the Ministry of Education will be able to carry out the transformation of the education system as planned and turn Malaysia into a developed nation by year 2020.
    "Lets move forward as a united, dynamic, and progressive team to implement all national transformation efforts; with patience, faith, cooperation, and sincerity our aspirations will be achieved," he said.
