Mohamad Sabu leads anti-GST rally

KUALA LUMPUR: PAS Deputy Persident Mohamad Sabu addressed tens of thousands of protestors clad in a sea of red to oppose the implementation of the Goods and Services tax (GST).
Sabu led the crowd to chants calling for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak to step down.
"Today in New York, in London, in Beirut and in Kuala Lumpur we are here to oppose the implementation of GST and for PM Najib to step down," said Sabu who then led the crowd to chants of "hidup rakyat" and "reformasi".
From Dataran Merdeka, the group will be heading to KLCC to protest there.
Sabu also called for protestors to be peaceful and to conduct themselves in an orderly manner while walking to KLCC.
Others who were at the protest was Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad and PAS election director Hatta Ramli while Lim Guan Eng and Nurul Izzah Anwar are slated to turn up at KLCC.
