i-Akaun users increase more than 100%

PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has reported that the usage of its i-Akaun by their members had increased by more than 100% in its first quarter.
Its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Datuk Shahril Ridza Ridzuan added in a statement today, that members who have logged into the i-Akaun, currently stands at 2,907,576, an increase of 102.65% from last year's 1,434,770.
He said the figures showed that members are aware of the importance of monitoring their EPF savings and contributions from their employers.
"This is important as they can also ensure that their employers contribute on their behalf accurately and on time," he added.
The i-Akaun provides members the convenience of checking their EPF savings anytime and anywhere for their convenience. The online facility can be accessed through the myEPF website and EPF's mobile apps, which are available on the the Apple App Store and Google Play store.
