Last Call to vote for the best property agents

THE fabulous response and great success of iProperty.com People’s Choice Awards (PCA) last year, has led to the inauguration of iProperty.com Malaysia’s Agent Advertising Awards (AAA) 2015. While the former paid tribute to the nation’s property developers for their sparkling developments in the country, the latter will give recognition to the real estate agencies and its outstanding professionals.
Shedding light on last year’s exceptional awards, iProperty Group managing director and CEO Georg Chmiel said that the month long PCA campaign last year attracted more than 10,000 votes from Malaysians. Of these, 10 developers were honoured and presented with awards. “Following the success of the PCA… it was only fitting that we pay tribute to real estate professionals and agencies, as they too are major players in the property market,” said Chmiel.
The AAA calls on the public to vote for their most preferred real estate professionals in four of its 18 categories. The remaining 14 categories will be solely judged on statistics and reports by a panel of judges. “At the end of the day, it is the property buyers, sellers and investors that have the most interaction with real estate agents and agencies…the reason we thought it was apt that they played a part in choosing the winners,” Chmiel added. The four categories where public votes will be taken into account are:
* Breakthrough Agent of the Year – Residential
* Breakthrough Agent of the Year – Commercial
* Star Agent Area – Residential
* Star Agent Area – Commercial

Response has been encouraging. After reviewing and scrutinising over 100 submissions, 58 entries have been shortlisted. “The power to help pick the best now lay in the hands of the general public,” Chmiel reiterates. While the winners from four categories will depend on public votes, a team of highly acclaimed judges consisting of industry professionals will determine the winners of the other categories. Honourable judges on the panel include Managing Director of Ho Chin Soon Research Ho Chin Soon; CEO of Wealth Mastery Academy Datuk Terry Ong and Sales &Marketing Director of MCT Bhd Datuk Soo Kai Chee.
“We encourage all Malaysians to cast their votes as you are the property buyer, seller and investor who engage the services of these real estate professionals to help you sell your home or even purchase that dream property. So make your vote count and together, let us celebrate these professionals in their field,” added Chmiel.
