Video of cat being kicked, put in washing machine angers netizens

PETALING JAYA: A video of a man and a woman being cruel to cats at a launderette in Malaysia has gone viral on social media.
In the video taken from close-circuit television footage, a man clad in a t-shirt, cap and jeans is seen together with a woman clad in dark-coloured pants, a white top and a headscarf. The man is then seen kicking and throwing a cat.
The couple then walk further into the launderette and appear to be having a conversation, where the woman is seen gesturing with her hands expressively.
The man then walks on ahead and picks up a cat and throws it towards another cat lying on the ground. He is then seen walking away.
In the next scene, another woman clad in a pink headscarf is seen picking up a white cat and putting it in a front-loading washing machine.
She then sits in front of the washing machine and waves at the hapless cat before walking away.
In the last scene of the video, the cat is seen moving inside the washing machine.
The video titled "Kes Buli Kucing (Bangang + Bodoh)" was uploaded on YouTube by user Fizz Fizuan and has since gone viral on Facebook, igniting the anger of netizens and animal welfare groups.
