KUALA LUMPUR: The Crown Prince of Johor yesterday voiced his opinion over the Nothing2Hide dialogue where a highly anticipated face off between a former and current Prime Minister was expected.
Tunku Ismail Tunku Ibrahim in a posting on Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page said "How can you have a dialogue called "Nothing2Hide" featuring a person who has everything to hide? Obviously he won't show up".
While Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad arrived at the dialogue as expected, Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak did not turn up.
Najib was expected to attend the dialogue organised by Malaysian Volunteer Lawyers Association (SukaGuam) at the PWTC to allegedly clear the air over controversies surrounding 1MDB.
The dialogue was later called off by IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar who cited safety and security reasons.
"For those who have been entrusted with the responsibility, do not blame the people for losing confidence and trust in you, but think of why they no longer have the confidence and trust in you," concluded Tunku Ismail's posting.
