MRCB bags RM485m Desaru job

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) has been awarded a RM485 million construction contract from Destination Resorts and Hotel (DRH).
In a filing with the stock exchange, MRCB said it involves the construction of a conference centre, Desa Desaru and Westin Desaru Resort at Desaru Coast, with a contract value of RM61.4 million, RM212 million and RM211.6 million respectively.
The construction period for the projects is between 19 and 21 months from the date of site possession of June 25.
"All the above projects are expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of MRCB group," it noted. DRH was established in 2010 by Khazanah Nasional Bhd.
