Xin Hwa shares close morning session at a 15 sen premium

KUALA LUMPUR: Integrated logistics provider Xin Hwa Holdings Bhd, which made its debut on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd this morning, closed the first trading session at 85 sen, a hefty 21% or 15 sen premium above its issue price of 70 sen.
Some 57.4 million shares were traded, making it the most actively traded stock in the morning session, which ended at 12.30pm.
Managing director Ng Aik Chuan said it is happy with the share price amidst the uncertainties in the market.
Xin Hwa's business expansion plans includes the construction of a new 220,000 sq ft warehouse in Pasir Gudang, Johor and the acquisition of additional 101 units of new vehicles, which includes prime movers and trailers.
