SHAH ALAM: The administrative crisis in Selangor is still unresolved as a meeting between DAP and PKR today failed to find a solution.
The 30-minute meeting, attended by both parties' state top leaderships including Selangor Mentri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali, has failed to reached a consensus, according to Selangor DAP chairman Tony Pua.
Speaking to reporters at the state secretariat building after the meeting, Pua said among issues that were brought was the cooperation of PAS in sustaining the state government.
"That was (among) the questions we discussed today (on PAS Selangor). There is no decision ... not yet," he said.
"We will hold a meeting again after Hari Raya," he added.
Despite the deadlock, Pua said the meeting was filled with "constructive discussions and exchange of ideas" with regards to the ongoing political turmoil in the state.
"It was a good meeting. We understand each other's position better," he said.
The meeting was also attended by amomg others Selangor DAP deputy chairman Gobind Singh Deo, Hannah Yeoh and Selangor DAP vice chairman Teng Chang Kim and Ean Yong Wah (Selangor Exco) while from PKR Zuraidah Kamaruddin, Xavier Jayakumar and N. Surendran.
However, PAS representatives were not present at the meeting.
Pua also dismissed claims that the state DAP had issues with Mohamed Azmin with regards the state administration.
"We never had problems with him. There is no issue on Mohamed Azmin being Mentri Besar," he said.
The Selangor administration was pulled into a crisis following the announcement by DAP that Pakatan Rakyat has ceased to exist.
