Johor govt sets aside additional funds for state SRS

    JOHOR BARU: The state government will increase voluntary patrol scheme (SRS) and neighbourhood watch activities here to reduce the crime rate and enhance security and harmony.

    Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the state government had set aside additional funds for the purpose.

    He stated this at a community programme in conjunction with Ramadan here, last night.

    Mohamed Khaled also presented equipment worth RM900,000 to the state SRS chief during the function. – Bernama
