One more issue to be finalised in Selangor water agreement

NAKA: Energy, Green Technology and Water deputy minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said the Selangor water supply restructuring agreement could be finalised before Aidilfitri.
"Only one more matter needed to be resolved," he told reporters without elaborating.
He said the ministry's officers met with Selangor state officers last week over the matter.
"We have been waiting for two years for the Selangor government's decision. When the deal is done, the Langat 2 water treatment plant project would proceed," he said after presenting aid in conjunction with Ramadan here, today.
Meanwhile, Mahdzir hoped that there would not be any rationing exercise during Aidilfitri.
"We hope there won't be any rationing although it is up to the Selangor government," he said. – Bernama
