JOHOR BARU: DAP's Johor Jaya Assemblyman Liow Cai Tong lodged a report over the "kopitiam forum" ruckus incident at the Seri Alam police station today.
Following the report, Liow and some DAP state assemblymen, issued a statement, urging the police to take action against those who created the commotion in the kopitiam at Jalan Bayan 31/1, Taman Megah Ria, Seri Alam at 2.20pm last Sunday.

They claimed the attack on the speakers at the forum was premeditated.
They also urged Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin, who is also Pasir Gudang Umno chief, to take responsibility, claiming that the incident involved his supporters.

"It is against the Malaysian culture and democratic norms." said Liow.
It is not the first violent incident experienced by DAP representative.
Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong was also abused when he visited the Bazar Ramadan last year in Kluang.
Liow said Johor DAP Liason Committee chief Liew Chin Tong was present at the forum on last Sunday, and was allegedly attacked by the group.
She said Liew is going for a medical check-up in Kuala Lumpur following the incident.
Pas member Syed Othman Abdullah who was also present was slapped in the incident and has since lodged a police report at the same police station.
He told theSun, "I feel pain in my left ear. I will go for a medical check-up."
