State PPDNKK enforcement chief Mohamad Mokhtar Yeop said the raid on four wholesale premises in Taman Johor Jaya was carried out by 20 officials at 2.30pm, acting on a complaint from a brand owner.

"Among the seized counterfeit goods were bags, belts and hats. They all involved brands such as Adidas, Nike, Levi's, Louis Vuitton and Gucci," he told reporters, here, today.

Mohamad Mokhtar said initial investigations showed that all these goods were brought in from overseas.

He said the wholesalers who have been doing business for over four years were believed to have supplied the goods to traders around the city. – Bernama
