HB Global slapped with UMA query

    PETALING JAYA: HB Global Limited said it is unaware of any corporate exercises that might have contributed to the recent rise in price after being queried by Bursa Malaysia.
    "However, the company is still pending for the reply from the major shareholders on the above matters and will made further announcement to Bursa Securities in due course," it told the stock exchange yesterday.
    The China-based frozen food manufacturer's was issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query after its share price jumped 180% in the last two weeks from 5 sen on July 1 to 14 sen yesterday.
    HB Global, a Practice Note 17 company, saw 5.63 million shares traded yesterday.
