Task force raids 1MDB office

KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the special task force set up to investigate the 1MDB fiasco arrived about an hour ago at the 1MDB office along Jalan Sultan Ismail here.
A source from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirmed that members of the task force left for the 1MDB office about 11am today.
However, the source did not reveal what the task force members were there for.
They arrived in a police van and three cars.
Meanwhile, federal police confirmed that a raid at the 1MDB office at Jalan Sultan Ismail is currently ongoing.
Police sources said investigators from the federal commercial crime investigations department are perusing documents at the office in the process of gathering evidence for a probe on the company.
