PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has been served with two originating summonses from the dissenting shareholders of Integrax Berhad in regard to TNB's take over offer for Integrax.
The plaintiffs are Integrax co-founder Amin Halim Rasip and his wife Nor'aini Hashim as well as Chan Kok Keong.
In a filing with the stock exchange, TNB said it had instructed its solicitors to act on its behalf in the above legal suits and its solicitors is currently preparing all cause papers to be filed in court.
"Other than the management cost and legal expenses, the legal suits will not have any material impact on TNB financially and operationally," it noted.
The trio is seeking reliefs against TNB, claiming that the take over of any "offer shares" referred in the notice dated May 22, 2015 is erroneous and void.
Integrax was delisted from Bursa Malaysia on May 12 after obtaining more than 90% acceptances for the RM3.25 take over offer.
