KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Bhd CEO Aireen Omar said the airline should be allowed to move back to LCCT while issues at klia2 are being resolved, citing concerns over safety issues.
Speaking to reporters at the signing of a collaborative agreement with Destini Bhd today, she said returning to LCCT would be the "ideal situation".
Aireen said the airline has also incurred additional costs since moving to klia2, especially on new equipment at the new airport.
Meanwhile, the agreement with Destini will cover key initiatives for strategic outsourcing namely technical handling, component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and hangar-based MRO.
