Azmin concerned on the impact Cabinet reshuffle will have on country's economy

PETALING JAYA: Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali expressed concern that the removal of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as Deputy Prime Minister only days after he spoke out on the financial mismanagement surrounding 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) could impact the country's economic situation.
In a statement issued to the media today, Azmin alleged that the Cabinet reshuffle and the termination of Attorney General Tan Sri Gani Patail was done to safeguard Najib's administration.
Azmin who is also Keadilan vice-president urged MPs from both sides of the political divide to stand united in serving the country in light of recent developments.
