KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has refused to comment on his sacking from the cabinet by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak.
The former Deputy Prime Minister said he instead would hold a press conference at his house tomorrow (July 29) to provide an explanation on his situation.
"I would like to inform that I will be having a press conference here at 11am and will like to invite the members of the media to attend," he said.
"In the press conference, I will provide explanation on any questions posed by the media, be it from the local or international," he told reporters at his house in Bukit Damansara here.
He said his official statement which was released earlier should serve as a response from him for the time being.
"I will not be giving any new statement (for the time being)," he said.
Since the cabinet reshuffle, Muhyiddin's house has become a centre of attraction for his supporters as well as prominent political figures.
Among who were seen entering his house were Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia president Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Syeikh Fadzir and former Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
