KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, son of former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, was among prominent Umno leaders who visited former deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at his home today.
The Kedah Mentri Besar arrived at Muhyiddin's house at 8.35pm but did not speak to the media.
Mukhriz spent more than two hours with Muhyiddin.
As he left at 11.05pm, Mukhriz refused to comment further on the discussion he had inside the house.
"I've got no comment. Thank you," he told reporters who had been standing by since afternoon.
Asked if Mahathir would be meeting Muhyiddin, Mukhriz told reporters to ask the latter themselves.
Mahathir was the main actor in calling for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak to step down due to several allegations of misappropriation of funds, especially the troubled 1Malaysia Development Berhad.
