Water restructuring deal on track to complete: PAAB

    KUALA LUMPUR: Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB) is hoping the master agreement for the Selangor water restructuring exercise can be completed by end of next month.
    Its CEO Datuk Ahmad Faizal Abdul Rahman said the talks between the federal and state governments is "very good" so far.
    "I think there is not a problem to settle this before September 10," he noted.
    He added that both parties are negotiating some small issues on operations at present.
    PAAB is a wholly-owned company under the Minister of Finance Incorporated. It forms part of the federal government's efforts to restructure the water services industry in the country.
