KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB), the retail arm of national oil company Petroliam Nasional Bhd, has today launched the new Euro-4M RON 97 petrol, two weeks ahead of its gazetted Sept 1, 2015 implementation date.
"Today, we are not only introducing a fuel that meets the gazetted requirement. We are also delivering to our customers an enhanced Petronas Primax 97 with improved advanced energy formula," PDB's managing director and CEO Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus told reporters at the launch event.
He said the Euro-4M petrol, which comes with lower benzene, sulphur content and reid vapour pressure (RVP) levels, is a greener fuel as it produces less emissions and pollutants, as compared with Euro-2M RON 97 petrol.
PDB markets a wide range of high quality petroleum products, including motor gasoline, aviation fuel, kerosene, diesel, fuel oil, bunker fuel, lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and asphalt in the country.
