Eco World to launch RM8.7b Bukit Bintang City Centre by year-end

    SHAH ALAM: Eco World Development Group Bhd is on track to launch the RM8.7b Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) by year-end, said its president and CEO Datuk Chang Khim Wah.
    Speaking to reporters after its EGM today, Chang said the development order for the project has already been obtained and construction is expected to begin early next year.
    Shareholders approved the development of BBCC at the EGM today.
    BBCC is a mixed development to be built on former Pudu Jail land measuring 19.4 acres in Kuala Lumpur.
    Eco World is jointly developing BBCC with UDA Holdings Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund.
    Chang also said the group is on track to achieve its RM3 billion sales target for the financial year ending Oct 31, 2015, driven by its township projects.
