Great Eastern Life celebrates 107th anniversary

KUALA LUMPUR: Life insurance products and services provider Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Bhd yesterday celebrated its 107th anniversary as a leading life insurer in the country.
Great Eastern Life has RM66.9 billion in assets, over 3 million policies in force and a network of 17,000 agents nationwide as at Dec 31, 2014. It has 21 branch offices and products, including life insurance plans, investment-linked plans, mortgage protection, business protection, employee benefits, medical insurance and group health benefit schemes.
“In recognition of the contribution from our customers, employees and business partners that drove our company’s success and achievements, I would like to thank all of you for being with us throughout this great journey and I look forward to continue celebrating our company’s longevity for the many more years to come,” its director and CEO Datuk Koh Yaw Hui said at the ceremony in Menara Great Eastern yesterday.
The attendees included its senior management team, staff, business partners, customers and the public.
“We promise to continue elevating our standards of excellence, championing every effort to enrich life in meaningful ways and inspiring hope for a brighter future. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the leaders of our community for their trust and support as we work towards building a healthier nation,”Koh said.
