Bersih 4: Situation under control

KUALA LUMPUR: The Bersih 4.0 rally has been under control and all participants are still at Dataran Merdeka, said Kuala Lumpur police chief Commissioner Datuk Tajuddin Md Isa.
"Up till 5pm, everything is under control. There has not been any arrest or untoward incident. Police personnel, however, will continue to monitor, especially at Dataran Merdeka and venues where participants gather," he said.
Tajuddin added that if any untoward incident occurs, stern action will be taken, adding that the police will continue to ensure that the city remains safe and public order is maintained.
He also advised the public to cooperate by not entering Dataran Merdeka, which is against the law.
