Over 100,946 Tekun Nasional fund borrowers fail to settle loan

KUALA LUMPUR: Over 100,946 borrowers of the Tekun Nasional Fund failed to repay loans amounting to about RM675 million.
"Even though all actions have been taken, they still refused to settle the loans and this has affected opportunities for other borrowers in securing loans. There are borrowers that have never made a loan repayment even if their businesses are successfully expanding," managing director/CEO, Baharom Embi said in a statement.
Tekun Nasional is an agency under the Ministry of Agriculture & Agro-based Industry. – Bernama
