Pos Malaysia and Zoo Negara launch post card to commemorate 9th birthday of the giant pandas

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia and Zoo Negara launched a post card to commemorate the 9th birthday of the giant pandas Xing Xing and Liang Liang.
The post cards, priced at RM9, are engraved with the pictures of the pandas drawn by China Panda Master Liu Jinquan.
The joint effort of Zoo Negara and the Culinary Arts and Gastronomy Department of University Teknologi Mara in preparing the "Largest Panda Replica Cake in Malaysia" which took one week to prepare, also gained entry into the Malaysia Book of Records.
Present at today's ceremony was the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah who is the zoo's patron.
Sultan Sharafuddin who was accompanied by Selangor Mentri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali, also paid a visit to the Panda Conservation Centre.
