Three die and two others injured in accident in Kuala Kangsar

The wrecked car after it collided with a cement lorry.
KUALA KANGSAR: Three people in a family died and two others were injured when their car was involved in a collision with a cement lorry at Jalan Sultan Iskandar Shah, Manong, here about 2pm today.
They were identified as the driver Zurina Zainal Abidin, 35, Zainal Abidin Yub Mat Rasib, 70, and Zafryn Alif Damien Shainatulhisem, nine.
They died at the scene.
The bodies were sent to the Kuala Kangsar hospital for post mortem.
They injured were Zaflyn Saira Darwina Shainatulhisem, four, and Zaflyn Iman Darius Shainatulhisem, seven.
They were treated at the same hospital.
The lorry driver, Faizul Shah Abdul Majid, 33, escaped injuries.
Firemen were summoned to extricate the bodies from the wreckage.
