PM accepts 534 cattle contributed for sacrifice in Pekan constituency

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak accepted contributions of 534 cattle for sacrifice from 15 companies for the Pekan parliamentary constituency's Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration.

The contributions were presented by the companies at a ceremony held at Perdana Putra, here, today.
Among the contributors were Sapura Holdings Sdn Bhd which contributed 128 cattle, NAZA Group (75), DRB-HICOM Berhad (50), WZR Property Sdn Bhd (30), National Farmers' Association (30) and Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (28).

The others included Roadcare (M) Sdn Bhd (28), Heitech Padu Berhad and Nukima Sdn Bhd (20), GBP Corporation Sdn Bhd (20), AJ Aeroservices Sdn Bhd (20) and Kini Unggul Sdn Bhd (15).

The cattle will be distributed to mosques, surau, government agencies and non-governmental organisations which will perform the sacrifice in Pekan.
