Kelington secures S$21m contract

    KUALA LUMPUR: Integrated engineering solutions provider Kelington Group Bhd has secured a contract worth S$21 million (RM64 million) from M+W Singapore Pte Ltd for the supply and installation of an exhaust distribution system.
    This contract comes one month after Kelington was awarded with a S$14 million contract from M+W Singapore for the supply and installation of a bulk gas and clean dry air distribution system.
    Both of the contracts, totalling S$35 million are for a new manufacturing facility for one of the top five semiconductor manufacturers in the world, of which M+W Singapore is the turnkey engineer. The contracts will be completed in the first half of 2016.
    Kelington CEO Raymond Gan said this latest award further strengthens the group’s position in the high-tech sector.
    Year-to-date, Kelington has secured new orders worth RM219 million, bringing the group’s current outstanding order book to RM240 million.
