Tony Pua ordered to leave Sarawak

KUCHING: Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua (pix) was ordered to leave Sarawak via a flight from Miri Airport, at 4.20pm today afternoon after he was allowed to enter the state upon arrival earlier in the morning.
A Sarawak Immigration Department spokesman confirmed the matter.
"It is confirmed that YB Tony Pua was checked out to leave the state at 4.20pm from Miri Airport to Kuala Lumpur upon the orders of Sarawak state authorities," he told Bernama.
Pua was picked up by Immigration officers as he was having a meal in Miri with his group.
One of the officers told Pua that he had instructions to pick him up and put him on the next flight to Kuala Lumpur.
Pua, the DAP national publicity secretary, had arrived in Miri from Kuala Lumpur on an AirAsia flight at 9.20am. – Bernama
