KNM secures RM581 million waste-to-energy facility job from UK’s Drenl

    PETALING JAYA: KNM Group Bhd’s unit KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd has clinched a contract worth RM581 million from Drenl Ltd to undertake the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a waste-to-energy facility at Croydon in the United Kingdom.
    In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, KNM said the 27-month contracts will start after it receives notice to proceed from Drenl.
    KNM said its unit has also been awarded the operation and maintenance jobs for the waste-to-energy facility, of which the terms and conditions are yet to be finalised.
    Through its subsidiaries, KNM designs, manufactures and maintains process equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skid-mounted assemblies, process pipe systems, storage tanks, specialised structural assemblies and module assemblies for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
