» Beginning July 1, 2016, national minimum wage will be increased from RM900 to RM1000 per month in Peninsular; RM800 to RM920 per month for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.

» Government allocated RM5.9 billion for BR1M aid, which will benefit 4.7 million households and 2.7 million single individuals.
» BR1M now in 3 categories - households earning less than RM1,000 will be given RM1,050; households earning below RM3,000 will be given RM1,000; households earning between RM3,001 to RM4,000 will be given RM800. Read more here
