AirAsia: Penang to Ho Chi minh city from December 1

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia Bhd will operate four direct flights per week to Ho Chi Minh City from its international hub in Penang, starting on Dec 16.
In a statement, the low-cost airline said bookings for the new route have been available since yesterday. It is offering one-way tickets from as low as RM99 until Nov 8 for travel from Jan 25 to Oct 29, 2016.
“Penang is one of our important hubs, and we recognise its great tourism potential and this new direct flight from Penang to Ho Chi Minh City signifies our commitment in establishing enhanced connectivity for the people from both cities,” its head of commercial Spencer Lee said.
AirAsia flies direct to Ho Chi Minh City from Kuala Lumpur five times daily, and three times weekly from Johor Baru.
