Damansara Realty, Johor Tin issued UMA query

PETALING JAYA: Damansara Realty Bhd and Johore Tin Bhd have been issued unusual market activity (UMA) query by Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd last Friday.
The queries were issued to Damansara Realty on the sharp rise in its share price last Friday, and Johore Tin on the unusual rise in price of its securities recently.
Damansara Realty was up 49.17% at 89.5 sen from 60 sen last Friday, while Johore Tin has seen its share price more than doubled to RM2.56 from only RM1.24 on Aug 24, 2015.
Damansara Realty said it was not aware of any corporate development, rumour or report and possible explanation to account for the UMA, save and except that the company has participated in a public tender to construct housing develpment under Projek Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (PPA1M) at Putrajaya.
Johore Tin was also had no possible explanation that may have contributed to the trading activity.
"The board also confirms that the company is in compliance with the Bursa Securities Listing Requirement on immediate disclosure obligations," it said.
