MTD Construction Philippines bags RM142.69m RPT job

PETALING JAYA: MTD ACPI Engineering Bhd's unit in Philippines has entered into a turnkey contract for the design, construction and completion of Nueva Ecija Government Centre and Central Business Hub in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija worth RM142.69 million in a related party deal.
The contract was awarded to MTD Construction (Philippines), Inc by AlloyMtd Palayan, Inc, a subsidiary of MTD Equity Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MTD Capital Bhd.
The contract is on a fixed lump sum price of Philippines Pesos 1.53 billion inclusive of all applicable taxes (equivalent to RM142.69 million), for a period 16.5 months, inclusive of 1 month post-construction activities
