KUALA LUMPUR: After more than three hours of questioning, former 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) CEO Datuk Shahrol Halmi (pix) said all went well in the Public Accounts Committee's (PAC) probe.
He appeared for the second time today to continue with PAC's inquiry on the state investment arm.
"We are happy to provide the answers and we think we have provided lengthy answers.
"We look forward to cooperating further," Shahrol said when met by reporters after the proceedings, which began at 10.30am.
However, he refused to disclose the questions asked or scope of the inquiry.
When asked about the documents he brought for the inquiry, Shahrol said: "We will wait for the investigation and the report to be over."
On Thursday Shahrol was questioned on the administration of 1MDB starting from when it was the Terengganu Investment Authority (TIA) in 2009 until the formation of 1MDB in September 2009 as well as on the establishment of the 1MDB-PetroSaudi joint venture.
PAC chairman Datuk Hasan Ariffin in a statement said that it is satisfied with Shahrol's explanations to all questions asked at the inquiry.
The probe continues tomorrow with 1MDB president and CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy.
