Damansara Realty awarded RM467.13m civil servants housing project

    PETALING JAYA: Damansara Realty Bhd has been awarded a contract by Putrajaya Corporation (PJC) to construct housing units under Projek Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia (PPPA1) and a mixed development in Presint 5, Putrajaya with a gross development cost of RM467.31 million.
    Its unit, Damansara Realty (Johor) Sdn Bhd, will build 1,350 PPA1M units comprising of 675 units of 1,000 sq ft and 675 units of 1,200 sq ft, as well as a six storey shop office comprising of 45 units.
    The contract period is 30 months and is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings for the financial period ending Dec 31, 2016.
    On Nov 6, the company admitted to have participated in a public tender for the PPPA1 job after it was queried by Bursa Malaysia Securities when its share price surged.
