PETALING JAYA: Enforcement actions on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) are being finalised and "will be made known" to the public, said Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) governor Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz.
In an exclusive interview with CNBC Asia at the Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong, Zeti said BNM has completed its investigations into the state investment firm.
"Everyone wants a conclusion [to the investigations] so that can just move [on]," she said, adding that there are other important economic issues the country is confronted with.
In the four-minute interview, Zeti said BNM was not the only authority scrutinising the dealings of 1MDB.
"There are others," she said.
She was responding to questions on the impact of the 1MDB issue on Malaysia and the country's next move in dealing with the economic situation.
Meanwhile, 1MDB chairman Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin will continue to testify before the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) today with regards to 1MDB's administration and management.
PAC chairman Datuk Hasan Ariffin said that Lodin, who has been chairman since October, 2010, will be called back to answer questions by the committee with regards to the matter.
"There are a lot of things to be settled, and we are trying to solve it as soon as possible, and hope the report about it can be table in Parliament in March," he told reporters after chairing the proceedings, which lasted for about three hours, in Parliament today.
While not disclosing the contents of the meeting to the media, Hasan said the proceedings with Lodin will continue today from 9.30am and might carry on until the afternoon.
Asked if PAC would call former 1MDB chairman Tan Sri Mohd Bakke Salleh, Hasan replied that "once Lodin has testified, we will decide if we need to call Bakke. If he is needed, we will call him."
