Mukhriz will not attend meeting between BN reps and Kedah Regency Council

ALOR STAR: Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir (pix) will not be attending the meeting between Barisan Nasional (BN) assemblymen and the Kedah Regency Council tomorrow.
He said the Council may want to ascertain for themselves the truth of what has been reported in the media.
"I don't think I will attend," he said in an impromptu press conference today.
Mukhriz was approached by reporters after arriving at the Sultan Abdul Halim Airport here.
He was greeted by scores of supporters at the arrival hall who shouted "Hidup Mukhriz!" as he appeared.
Mukhriz also said he was informed about the unhappiness of the Kedah Royal House over recent developments but said he could not speak on behalf of the Palace.
