Agong confers awards on 191 people

KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah today conferred awards, decorations and medals on 191 individuals in conjunction with this year's Federal Territories Day celebration.
Also present at the investiture ceremony held at Istana Negara was Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah.
Heading the list of recipients this time was His Majesty's aide-de-camp (ADC) Datuk Zaharin Ahmad, who received the Darjah Panglima Mahkota Wilayah (PMK).
The other recipients of the award included Istana Negara's religious officer Datuk Abdul Aziz Che Yakob, ADC Datuk Mohd Reza Mohd Sani, deputy secretary-general (Management) of the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Yatimah Sarjiman, Kuala Lumpur City Hall's socio-economy executive director Datuk Mohd Saufi Muhamad and former national footballer Datuk Ramlan Askolani.
The king also conferred the Darjah Johan Mahkota Wilayah (JMK) on 24 individuals, Darjah Kesatria Mahkota Wilayah (KMW) and Darjah Ahli Mahkota Wilayah (AMK) on 37 each, and Pingat Pangkuan Mahkota Wilayah (PPW) on 58 others. – Bernama
