New Police Chiefs for Penang and Perak

PETALING JAYA: Two police officers who got their transfer orders will take up their new postings on Feb 16.
Federal police Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS) deputy director DCP Datuk Abdul Ghafar Rajab will be the new Penang police chief with the rank of a commissioner.
The current Penang police chief Datuk Seri Abdul Rahim Hanafi has been posted as the new Perak police chief replacing Datuk Osman Salleh.
The announcement was made by Inspector-General of Police Secretariat assistant head (corporate communications) ACP Datin Asmawati Ahmad today.
