Nancy Shukri's brother dies

KUCHING: An elder brother of Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nancy Shukri died today.
Daniel Shukri, seventh of 11 siblings, died of throat cancer at 8.40am at the Sarawak General Hospital. He was 58.
Nancy's press secretary Syeliza Basri said Daniel had been undergoing treatment and was admitted to the hospital about a week ago.
She said Nancy was informed of the death while she was going to attend the Cabinet meeting and immediately flew here from Kuala Lumpur.
Daniel's remains were brought to his hometown of Samariang for burial this afternoon. – Bernama
