Forum in commemoration of labour movement

JOHOR BARU: Sahabat Rakyat, Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF) Johor and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) Nusajaya will jointly organise a forum in commemoration of eminent leaders of the Malaya labour movement - S. A. Ganapathy and Lim Chin Siong.

The forum, entitled "Tribute to S. A. Ganapathy and Lim Chin Siong: Develop the selfless devotion spirit of these eminent leaders of the Malaya labour movement", will be held at TJ Mart, Saleng, Kulai on March 20, from 2pm to 6pm.

Two panel speakers will present their papers in the forum. Johor social activist Saminathan Munisamy will present his paper on "S. A. Ganapathy: From a social reformist to independence fighter".
Historian of the Singapore and Malaysia left-wing movement, Chen Jian@ C. C. Chin will present "The significance of inheriting and persisting Lim Chin Siong's struggle line today".
