KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak said today he, together with Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem, will pursue his father's struggle to bring progress to the people of Sarawak in tandem with the country's development.
Najib, who launched a special exhibition in memory of the late Tun Abdul Razak Hussein at The Spring shopping centre in Kuching on Sunday night, said looking at the collection of photographs on his father made him recalled efforts made by Tun Razak to develop Sarawak.
"Looking at the photographs, they reminded me of efforts made by my late father, together with the Sarawak Barisan Nasional, in developing the state and ensuring the land of the hornbills continues to prosper in Malaysia.
"Thank you Yayasan Cemerlang and the Sarawak Museum Department for organising this special exhibition," he said in his Facebook and Twitter postings.
The exhibition, to be held until May 3, features photographs of Tun Razak's visit to Sarawak in the 1970s. — Bernama
