Kiss woos fans with 36-date US summer tour

GLAM metal band KISS is staking out a three-month US tour that intentionally visits cities that usually miss out on the group's shows.
The Freedom to Rock tour starts on July 7, 2016 in Boise, Idaho and ends in Huntington, West Virginia, though additional dates are expected to join the list in the near future.
Look through the list of dates at band website Kiss Online and it becomes apparent that major concert venues such as those in New York, California, or Los Angeles are conspicuously absent.
Kiss management explains that the band "specifically wanted to take the 'Freedom To Rock' Tour to its fans in markets that haven't had the chance to see them in some time or ever at all."
The band will be supported by 2013's American Idol winner Caleb Johnson for July and early August shows, with supergroup collective The Dead Daisies taking over from August 10.
Tickets go on sale from April 15, or April 12 for fan club members. — AFP Relaxnews
