Johor state assembly speaker rejects emergency motion by Boo

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Johor state assembly speaker Tan Sri Mohamad Aziz today rejected an emergency motion by Skudai assemblyman Dr Boo Cheng Hau in the state assembly sitting.
Boo had proposed an emergency motion that Suhaimi Salleh (BN-Kukup) had misled the Dewan in his speech on Wednesday and asked Suhaimi to apologise in the Dewan.
Boo said Suhaimi accused him of lying when he said that the financial image of Johor Corporation (JCorp) was not healthy.
Boo said his speech was based on what was reported in the Auditor-General's Report on Johor state 2014.
He proposed the emergency motion at noon but the speaker stopped him.
Suhaimi, when contacted, said he did not question the AG's report and he would not apologise if asked to do so.
